The Ontario Government has moved to Step 3 ahead of time and is now allowing movie theatres to reopen on Friday July 16th. There will still be stringent safety protocols in place as outlined below.
We are pleased to welcome you back to our cinema after our extended shutdown. However, some things will have changed since we last met as we outline below:
We will be following the guidelines as set out by Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism, and Culture Industries for the reopening of our Cinemas.
First, please note that everybody using our cinemas facility must wear a face mask while in the public areas and in the cinemas with exceptions made for those instances when eating or drinking. Those without a mask will be provided with one.
Reserved seating, available through online ticketing, will be in effect for each cinema, to ensure compliance with the physical distancing requirements of the regulations. All tickets must be reserved in advance of performance. There are no walk-ups permitted at this time.
Cinema capacity limitations are in effect for each cinema. By using our online ticketing on our http://www.gallerycinemas.com/ website you can purchase your tickets and choose your seats. You will also be able to see what seating is available for the performance you choose to attend.
You will notice that seating is staggered and with every second row eliminated from the seating pool to achieve the required social distancing requirements.
You will also notice that we are offering limited showtimes during this reopening phase. We will be offering a single evening show on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday with a single matinee offered on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.
Ticketing and Concession purchasing:
Our box office station will be closed. You must use our online ticketing to choose your seats and purchase your tickets online. Tickets purchased this way can be accessed through our theatre kiosk and/or at the concession stand.
All tickets must be purchase in advance.
We strongly ask that you use Debit, credit and gift cards for concession purchases. All ticketing and concession point of sale units can accept “touch” payments with cards so enabled.
We would really prefer that you not use Cash for purchases, however, if necessary, there will be a dedicated concession position that will be available to receive cash payments. However, we would ask that you present exact change only if possible.
Any Gift Certificates or Admit One Certificates and Passes should be redeemed at the concession stand.
You will also notice that our concession selection will be limited. Self serve items will not be available on the counter and all such items as straws, napkins etc. will be provided with each order and/or on request. Refills will not be offered during this time.
Employees and cleaning procedures:
Employee’s will be required to fill out an attestation form declaring that they are symptom free, will be required to go home should they show symptoms of Covid19 or flu during their shift and will be required to wear masks while on premises. All employee/customer interface locations will have plexiglass shields and food service gloves will be available. Hand washing will be required every 30 minutes.
Hand sanitizer will be available at various points throughout the lobby area, all cinemas including seats, armrests, cupholders, handrails, door handles/knobs will be cleaned with industrial-strength cleaning products between each showtime and during opening hours as required.
The cinemas will be cleaned and sanitized over night and we will also be utilizing a disinfectant whole room fogging system.

Please arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled show time. Observe the physical distancing floor decals and directional signage.
Please sit in your assigned reserved seat and do not change seats and/or rows. Should you have a need to change seats please see an employee for assistance.
